I welcome back my good friend Gerald Gruenig for Episode 18, a follow up on out last conversation last fall. Gerald is a journalist at KLFY News 10 in Lafayette, LA and stars in his own segment, Acadiana Eats. He is a viral internet sensation around Louisiana right now and growing by the day! He is a musician in a zydeco band, former athlete, family man and of course a representative to the Louisiana culture today!

Hold The Gravy visited the 70th Annual Delcambre Shrimp Festival in Delcambre, LA on night 2 of festivities. I sat down for 3 separate interviews with Alaina Barras and her shrimp queen side kick Lauren, Jason Miguez the Vice President of the festival association and the mayor of Delcambre, Pam Blakely with special guest Tammy Gordon.

John Williams is the owner/director of QLS and Blue Monday Mission based in Lafayette, LA. He runs philanthropy projects year round to raise awareness and goods for his non-profit organization. He was a nurse in the past and a great cook behind the BBQ pit. He works with musicians in the Heartland to provide a better life for their future.
